My Dream of Having a Family Came True!

I am 35 years old and have been with my high school sweetheart for 16 years now. I had no idea I was a lesbian until I fell in love with her at the end of my last year of high school. We've been head-over-heels in love ever since, we got married in 2003 & we now have a 5 year old

daughter (that I carried & gave birth to - thanks to a very generous sperm donor!). We definitely know how lucky we are to have our little family and our miracle baby is the love of our lives!
Our story wasn't always hearts and flowers though - we ran into plenty of ignorant people over the years and our families had a very hard time in the beginning. We are now blessed with an amazing circle of family and friends that love and support us.
I realize not everyone's story has such a happy ending, but it can happen! We are indeed VERY lucky - I wish this kind of happiness for everyone in our community!
